Polish Gathering during a Service to Commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain
W hołdzie polskim lotnikom - bohaterom Bitwy o Anglię! / In honor of Polish pilots - the heroes of the Battle of Britain!
ONI opanowali brytyjskie niebo. Przypomnijmy o tym opanowując plac wokół St Paul's Cathedral.
15 września (wtorek) odbędą się oficjalne uroczystości 75 rocznicy Bitwy o Anglię. Ich punktem kulminacyjnym bedzie msza święta w St Paul’s Cathedral z udziałem miedzy innymi: Królowej brytyjskiej Elżbiety II oraz Prezydenta Polski Andrzeja Dudy. Polscy lotnicy należeli do największych asów nieba brytyjskiego. Ich męstwo nie miało równych. Walcząc o Anglię walczyli odzyskanie niepodległości przez Polskę.
Kto z nas nie słyszał od Anglików o bohaterskich polskich lotnikach? Jesteśmy z nich dumni. Oddajmy im hołd podczas mszy, która bedzie transmitowana przez największe stacje telewizyjne. Jako Polacy mieszkający w Wielkiej Brytanii mamy wręcz obowiązek nie tylko pamiętać ale przypominać ich poświęcenie.
Zbierzmy sie pod Saint Paul’s Cathedral o godz 9.00. Przynieśmy biało-czerwone flagi. Na miejscu będą rozdawane polskie szachownice oraz godła Dywizjonu 303. Trwają rozmowy nad szczegółami. Jesteśmy otwarci na propozycje i sugestie. W tym dniu musimy zjednoczyć się w pamięci dla bohaterów.

They ruled the British sky. We want to honour their memory by paying respect to them on the square outside St Paul's Cathedral.
The official ceremony commemorating the 75th anniversary the Battle of Britain will be held on Tuesday, the 15th of September in St Paul's Cathedral with the participation of Her Majesty the Queen and the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda.
Polish pilots were the aces of the British skies. Their courage was boundless. Fighting in the Battle of Britain they fought for the freedom of Europe and the independence of Poland.
Most people have heard about the heroic Polish aviators. We are proud of them. We are going to pay tribute to them during the Service, which will be broadcast by major television networks. As Poles living in the UK we have a duty not only to remember them and their sacrifices but also to celebrate their impact.
Let's gather, carrying polish, flags outside the St. Paul's Cathedral at 9.00am.
